Terms of service

1. Purpose of the service
Verbasil is a business memory: a service that lets organizations centralize, preserve and retrieve their knowledge. The service is currently offered in early access, notably through a waitlist. Features may evolve during this phase.
2. Acceptance of these terms
Using the service implies full acceptance of these terms of service (the "Terms"). If you do not accept the Terms, you must not use the service.
3. Account and security
Creating an account requires a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity performed from your account. You agree to promptly report any unauthorized use of your account to contact@verbasil.com.
4. Ownership of imported content
You remain the full owner of the content you import into your business memory. You grant us only the technical license necessary to host, process and return that content to you as part of the service. We do not use it for any other purpose and we do not sell it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- import unlawful content, or content for which you do not hold the necessary rights;
- compromise the security or integrity of the service (intrusion attempts, deliberate overload, circumvention of protection measures);
- use the service for activities that violate the law or the rights of third parties.
In case of breach, we may suspend or terminate your access, with prior notice except in urgent cases.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" during the early access phase. We strive to keep it available and to back up your data, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages and shall not exceed the amounts you have paid us over the preceding twelve months. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability in case of gross negligence, willful misconduct or personal injury.
7. Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms, in particular as the service evolves. In the event of a substantial change, you will be notified (by email or through the service) at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent French courts, after an attempt at amicable resolution.
