The founder

Phrenel Lawson is the founder of Verbasil. A product builder who has worked at several startups, he builds the memory of companies in public: decisions, signals, learnings. He documents Verbasil's own decisions in Verbasil itself.

For several years he built a first project alongside a job, and kept repeating the same mistakes without noticing: parts redesigned several times because he had not kept what he had learned, user feedback written down then slowly overwritten by his own opinion, decisions made on gut feeling rather than on his own data. The realization: the problem was not him. A company documents things somewhere, but that knowledge never comes back at the right moment, and nobody can simply ask it a question. Verbasil was born from that observation: a company memory that hands knowledge back at the right moment, instead of one more place to store it.
