Google Calendar
Decisions are made in meetings. And meetings almost never keep a trace of them.
What it changes
Your calendar knows when you see whom. Verbasil knows what you decided with them. Connected together, each meeting opens on what matters: the participants the memory knows, what is still open with them, and the summary from last time.
Before the meeting, Nora prepares it. During it, Verbasil Scribe takes the notes. After it, the decisions enter the memory.
What enters the memory
Nothing from your calendar itself: your meetings are read from Google Calendar each time they are shown, never copied.
Only the meetings you send Verbasil Scribe to produce a summary, which you review before it enters the memory.
What Verbasil does with it
- Your week, all calendars together, one colour per account.
- A meeting created with a Google Meet link and invitations, when you ask.
- Verbasil Scribe in the meetings you tick, ticked by default on the ones you create here.
- Nora preparing, moving or cancelling a meeting from the chat, always on your confirmation.
How to connect it
- Open the calendar in Verbasil (the calendar icon at the top), or Integrations then Google Calendar.
- Connect your Google account, then add other calendars if you have several.
- Tick the meetings Verbasil Scribe should join, or create a meeting.
What it does not do
Verbasil never changes or cancels a meeting without your confirmation, and only for meetings you organise.
Nothing is ticked by default: Verbasil Scribe never joins a meeting you did not choose.
FAQ
Does Verbasil keep a copy of my calendar?
No. Your meetings are read from Google Calendar each time they are shown. Only the meetings you send Verbasil Scribe to are kept.
Can I connect my work and personal calendars?
Yes, as many Google accounts as you like. Your calendars stay visible to you alone, never to your team.
How do participants know Verbasil Scribe is taking notes?
It says so in a pinned message when it arrives, and the invitation says so when the meeting is created from Verbasil. The host can remove it from the call at any time.
