Decisions

Find what was decided and why, settle what is waiting, and follow up on what commits you.

The Decisions screen gathers what commits you: choices to settle, what is left to do, and what is waiting on someone else. Every decision keeps its why and its evidence, and that is what your agents read before they act.

A decision comes here from what you drop in: Verbasil spots it in a note, meeting minutes or a conversation, and proposes it to you. It only counts once it is settled.

Settle a decision

A proposed decision waits for your call under To decide.

  1. Open the decision, or click Decide on its row.
  2. Read where it comes from: the source excerpt and its evidence.
  3. Choose Accept or Refuse.
  4. Write the why in one sentence. It is required: it is what your team and your agents will read.
  5. Click Validate the decision, or Save the refusal.

A notification lets you undo for a few seconds. A refused decision is not erased: it stays in the Refused view.

Read a decision

Opening a decision shows a panel with three tabs.

TabWhat it shows
Decisionwhere it comes from, its why, and the file: who, the thread of the topic, the sources that agree, what contradicts it
Contextdue date, owner, who proposed it and who validated it, linked folders, plans and documents
Next stepswhat follows from it: linked contacts, exchanges, reply drafts

Nothing leaves from the Next steps tab without your confirmation.

Follow up on what is left to do

Once settled, a decision often becomes something to do, by you or by someone else.

  1. Open the decision, then the Context tab.
  2. Pick the Owner: a colleague or an agent. The person you pick is notified.
  3. When it's done, click Mark done.

For a decision that waits on someone else, move it to Waiting. The Follow up button records the follow-up date on the decision; it sends no message.

A decision with no movement for a long time asks whether it is still relevant. You can answer that it is done, keep it, or archive it.

Correct or replace

  • Edit corrects the title, the why, the due date or the justification. The correction stays logged.
  • Replace, on a done decision, creates a new decision and archives the old one: it stops guiding your agents.
  • Reopen puts a settled decision back under To decide.

Create a decision

  1. Click New decision.
  2. Write it in the conversation that opens, the way you would say it.

It then follows the same path as everything you drop in.

Archive and restore

  1. Open the decision and choose Archive.
  2. To find it again, open More, then Archived, and click Restore.

An archived decision is never erased. Decisions are also archived automatically when their source is edited or removed, and when a new decision replaces them; a replaced decision can't be restored.
