Get started
Send invitations, pick a role, and know what the invited person sees when they arrive.
A memory pays off when the team drops things into it and reads from it. You invite people from the Team console, which founders and admins can open, on the Team plan.
Send the invitations
- Open your account menu in the left sidebar, then Team.
- Click Invite members.
- Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas, spaces or line breaks. You can also upload a CSV or text file.
- Under Role for this batch, pick these people's role.
- Click Send.
Until an invitation is accepted, it shows as pending in the console.
On the Solo plan, the Team page shows "Team management requires the Team plan" instead, with the button to upgrade.
Roles
| Role | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Founder | the organization's owner; this role can't be assigned |
| Admin | manage members, roles and access |
| Member | read and contribute to the organization's open memories, and the ones they are added to |
One batch of invitations gets a single role. To invite people with different roles, send two batches.
What the invited person gets
- An email saying you invited them to join your organization on Verbasil, with a Join the memory button. The link is personal and valid for 24 hours.
- A welcome page introducing the memory. They click Continue, then get their sign-in link by email, just like signing in.
- A last screen where they enter their first name, their role and, if they like, A word for the team, then click Enter.
They then land in the memory. They see the organization's open memories and the ones they were added to, never restricted memories they don't belong to, nor anyone's personal memory.
After the invitation
- For a member to see a restricted memory, add them to that memory. Being a member of the organization is not enough.
- To remove someone, use Revoke access in the Team console: their access, tokens included, is cut immediately.
