Screens
Everything waiting on you, in one place: decisions, follow-ups, deposits to review, questions from the memory.
To do is your personal queue: what is assigned to you, or to nobody. Every row is handled in place, without changing screens. A handled row disappears, and the header counter says how many are left.
What the screen shows
| Row | What it asks of you |
|---|---|
| Decision to make | accept or refuse a proposed decision |
| To do | an action that is yours |
| Waiting on someone | a follow-up, when the other party is late or silent |
| Deposit to review | review what was drawn from one of your files |
| Question from memory | clear up a doubt the memory can't settle alone |
| To settle | choose between several options |
| Prepared by an agent | review a message an agent drafted, before it is sent |
| Reply received | take note of a reply |
Rows are grouped by due date: overdue, new, this week, this month, older. At most twelve are visible at once; the rest are gathered in a single Sort them row that leads to the Decisions screen.
Settle a decision
- On the row, choose Accept or Refuse.
- Write the why: it is required.
- To test before deciding, choose Turn into a test, then Start the test.
Handle what is left to do
- Done closes the row.
- Draft the follow-up or Draft the message opens the conversation with a draft. Nothing is sent without you.
- Postpone a week moves the due date seven days later.
- Dismiss removes the row.
For a row waiting on someone: They replied closes it, Still waiting keeps it.
Review a deposit
A file or an image you dropped in arrives here once analyzed.
- Open the Deposit to review row.
- Tick what is right, untick the rest.
- Click Integrate to bring in the ticked items, or Archive the deposit if it adds nothing.
Answer a question from the memory
Every morning, Verbasil spots what it holds without understanding: two decisions that contradict each other, two contacts that may be the same person, a follow-up with no owner. It turns them into questions, sent to the person who can answer.
- Click Answer and write your answer. It is dropped into the memory like everything else.
- If the question isn't for you, choose Not me, then Pass it on to the right person.
- For a question that offers choices, click the right option directly.
Dismissing the same type of question twice silences it for you. All open questions in the memory, not only yours, remain readable on the Questions screen.
Put it off
Later takes a row out of your queue until the next morning. This snooze is yours only: nothing changes for the team.
A row handled by mistake can be undone from the top of the screen.
What happens next
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Accept or refuse | the decision changes state in Decisions, for the whole team |
| Integrate a deposit | the ticked items enter the memory and become readable by your agents |
| Answer a question | the answer is dropped in and reviewed like a source |
| Send a message prepared by an agent | the message really goes out, from your mailbox |
Don't confuse
| To do | Decisions | |
|---|---|---|
| For whom | you alone | the whole team |
| What you see | what waits on your action | all decisions, in every state |
| When to open it | every day | to find or reread a decision |
