Get started
Drop in a note, meeting minutes or a file, and know what happens to it.
Everything comes in through the same place: the input box on the home screen. You paste text into it, drop a file on it, or connect a tool from it.
What makes good material
Verbasil draws decisions, commitments, learnings and recurring patterns from what you drop in. A document where nothing gets decided (a brochure, a template contract) stays available to consult, but produces nothing. Start with three to five recent, varied sources: meeting minutes, exchanges with clients, your own notes. Details in What should I import.
Drop in text
- In the left sidebar, click New conversation.
- Paste your text into the input box: a conversation, a note, meeting minutes.
- Send it.
Text you typed or pasted integrates on its own: there is nothing to validate.
Drop in a file
- Drag the file onto the page, or click the + button in the input box, then Files and images.
- Send it.
A file or an image goes through a review: the analysis reads it, then what was drawn from it waits for you before it enters the memory (see below).
Formats and limits
| Text | .txt .md .json .log .csv .html |
| Documents | .pdf .docx .xlsx .xls |
| Images and screenshots | .png .jpg .jpeg .webp .gif |
| Archives | .zip (50 MB at most once unpacked) |
| Per deposit | 10 files at most |
| Per file | 10 MB; PDF 6 MB and 80 pages; Word 4 MB; images and Excel 5 MB |
A format that isn't listed almost always works once converted to PDF, or pasted as text.
Connect a tool
- Click the + button in the input box.
- Under From your tools, choose Notion, Google Drive, Fireflies or Fathom.
For Notion and Google Drive, you choose which pages or files Verbasil can read. Details per tool are on the Integrations pages.
Review what was drawn from a file
Once the analysis is done, the deposit shows up in two places.
In To do, as a "Deposit to review":
- Open To do in the left sidebar.
- Open the deposit and tick what is right.
- Click Integrate to bring the ticked items in, or Archive the deposit if it adds nothing.
In Sources, under "Review and validate":
- Open Memory, then the Sources tab.
- On the deposit's row, click Review and validate.
- Read it over, then click Validate and integrate, or Later.
Nothing that comes from a file enters the memory without this step. That is what makes it trustworthy.
What happens next
What you integrate becomes readable everywhere: in Decisions, in Memory, in the answers you get from the input box, and in the AI tools you connected. A decision backed by several sources gains evidence level. See Evidence levels.
